Increasing front track width on I beam ranger
Increasing front track width on I beam ranger
So like many other people in here I have lowered my truck and I'm running different wheels, but i run fender flares for a wider stance so to get good fitment up front I need to run two and a half inch spacers. So my options for wheels are limited to really wide wheels with a bit of negative offset, kind of wide wheels with over 30 mm of negative offset, or thick spacers which Im not a big fan of. I have an explorer 8.8 so my rear fitment is pretty good and upfront is just djm beams.
So to get to the point, has anyone ran I beams off a different truck? Or a way to move the mounting point for the I beam? I know they make longer beams for rangers but they seem to all be for prerunners. Maybe explorer knuckles would push the wheels out? Any ideas for increasing track width up front while staying low without camber would be amazing. I'll attach photos for reference of the fitment later today
