tool box latch
not to sure were to post this one so i'd thought i'd try here i'm looking for anyone that has come up with a solution to my latest problem i have a back rack with a trailfx tool box currently in my truck the box has been screwed to the back rack with self tapping tapcon screws however this was only for a quick and temporary fix i'm trying to find a method i can sue that would allow me to remove the box and maybe even the rack quickly and then re-atch quickly as wanted my current method wont work cause after a while the screw will strip the hole and then it's garbage any thoughts would be good.
p.s. i don't currently have a welder only a soldering gun however i would like to know which welder you guys recommend for beginners. as I'll probably need one to finish this mod.

You could run large bolts threw the tool box and the back rack. You could have it to were the bolts are secure to the back rack by some locking washers.
Then when you want to attach the tool box just slide the bolts into precut holes and attach with nuts.
EDIT: The only tool you would need is a drill.

ya it sounds like something i was thinking drill the holes a little bigger put a big bolt through the bottom and then use a wing nut inside the box is that what you were thinking, also here's a new one for ya my back rack is for some reason loose i made sure it was tight when i first installed it but one side is loose now also on the other side that is still tight the bed must have been made form cheap metal cause when i installed it the first time the metal at the pre-drilled hole that the trucks come with started splitting apart. i thought of going and fighting ford for the bad craftsmanship but they'd probably say it was my fault torquing the bolt to tight, i don't believe it was me cause i just used a standard wrench.
