Look what I ordered

http://www.treadwright.com/p-8-235-7...ler-m-t-c.aspx

I know some people will say retreads are bad idea but I did my homework on these and searched reviews and people love treadwright tires but it's kind of a wait on these so i wont get them for a while but im excited to get these i have wrangler radials on my truck now that i've had for 4 1/2 years so it's time for new rubber and since tires are so expensive these were a good buy

Good deal, just make sure retreads are legal in your state.

I havent found anything that says you cant run them. This place has great reviews and a great rep for their tires and for 65 bucks for a M/T tire cant beat it maybe i can do some mild offroading with my little 2wd now haha

anybody on here have these tires?

94, if you're in Washington State, I don't believe those tires are legal on the road. I know the WAC code reviser for the Washington State Patrol. I just sent her an email, so I should find out tomorrow for sure. It's a pretty big ticket if you get caught with them, and they'll have your vehicle towed...

Yeah, I'm curious.

I jsut bought brand new tires, but still.

I'm just sketchy after being behind one too many semis on retreads that came apart on I-95.

Hey soundline they are legal if they werent the tire shop would never of mounted them. they have their own dot stamp on them showing that they are road worth and safe. so far i like them they ride real nice and they do hum but i like the sound of that as for offroad use that hasnt happened yet cause i cant drive my truck right now all i have done is ridden in it with the tires on

Recaps usually come apart like that due to overloading or under inflation. Just think, nearly every truck out there has recaps and you only see a few on the road.

They are retreads so they use old tires... You can request a make and even model if you want a specific one.

Those are really good tires.. most states that say no to retreads are talking about semis.. its a retread not a recap.. there is a difference.. these dont fly apart. 4x4 magazine or someone did a long term test on them
