Looking for easy power adders?

I have a 2004 Red Ranger 4.0L V6. I am looking for some power adders and also some maybe exterior upgrades as well. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

You wont see much power from just an intake or exhaust. When you get everything combined and then a tune for it then you will see a good power increase.

I would personally start with an exhaust. Ok power gain and great sound.

Hah I know Nitrous is an easy power adder but the street legalness of it gets me. So I think the exhaust and intake could be a good start. Would dual tailpipes give more power?

You can run nitrous on the street. You just have to keep the line off of the bottle.

Dual exhaust won't make more power on our trucks. Its more for looks than anything.

Are there any body modifications I can make? Not any splitters or cheesy flimsy bumpers though.

For power, a tuner will be key to anything you do.

As far as exterior mods, I suggest just looking around all over the site. So many pictures have been posted, there's got to be something that interests you. If you find something you like, use the search button, or ask about it.

Are you looking to lift it.
Xcal is one of the better power modifications.

It is a 4WD, just the base 4WD I believe. I know that sounds bad but I bought it used with no indications of anything else.
A lift would be nice. I will look at Xcal

Lets not try to ruin this thread with that eh?

But a cold air intake, exhaust and X-cal it pretty much the easiest. Anything else and it is going to get pricey.

yeah intake/exhaust tune is a good start.

i eventually want to be supercharged. SO BAD!

i miss hearing blower whine everyday when i drive

also, when you do intake/exhaust it'll make the truck a bit more fun to drive because the sound and slightly improved throttle response. i noticed that at least. and a tune will help it shift a ton better if you've got the auto.
