Mud tires on my 99 Ranger 2WD

I’m trying to put some mud tires on my 99 Ranger 2.5 - 2WD without having to do a lift...
Anybody have any idea on what tire size to use?
The tires that are currently on are P225/70R/15SL
THANK YOU!

You can most likely fit 235/70r15s on it or you could run stock 225/70r15 like you are now. Thunderer trac grip mt is about the best tire for the money

not joking or being mean, but aren't you going to get stuck in Mud + 2WD? Mud will stuck many 4x4. (Nice Truck. Clean! Jealous from the rust-belt)

That’s why o bought a ranger!

I got stuck on smooth nearly level, slightly muddy ground in my brand new Cherokee Renegade. The tires on dry grass didn’t spin, just the muddy ones. Stupid defective Jerp. It was a real shame and embarrassment to be pulled out by a 2wd camper van.

I think manual locking hubs prevent that? Is the rear diff locked?

99 4.0 XLT with manual hubs

Manual locking hubs just make it where you have to lock the front hubs in to be able to lock the front end together. Rear diff is open
