Turn Signals w/Third Brake Light

Turn Signals w/Third Brake Light
Has anyone seen a mod or something where the third brake light on the rear of the cab has been converted to work with the turn signals? Like with three bulbs in it instead of just one for the brake light.
I was looking around on Google trying to find something like this, but with no luck.

Ok, so I'm a retard. My truck is supposed to work like that, but the guy who had the truck before me has it wired so the light in the rear of the topper that I took off the truck works with a coupling at the end of the bed right next to the top of where the tailgate latches. Hopefully it will be an easy matter to un-wire what he did and put the right lights on the cab. I don't really know much about wiring stuff, so if anyone has a point in the right direction to get me started, that would be greatly appreciated.

What year is it??
Even though Rangers from the past several years look similar, there are many, many electrical and mechanical variations under the skin. PLEASE give the basics when starting any technical discussion - year, model, engine, transmission, 2WD or 4WD, etc.
An easy way to keep your truck's information available in all threads is to add a signature. Go to "User CP" in the menu, then to "Edit Signature".

The stock center high mount stop lamp bulb is powered from the factory dark green wire that should be present at the factory CHMSL plug connector.
To make the turn signals work in the 98 CHMSL, I'd run a pair of wires up there from the light green/white and white/light blue wires. These wires can be accessed at several places, one of which is the steering column harness.
All 3 bulbs can use the black ground wire, already present at the CHMSL connector.
