LED bolt lights

These lights are used for license plates. Alot of times on motorcycles, I was thinking about using some on my rollpan to hold and light my plate. I was just curious if anyone has any feed back or opinions?

I've used ones with the LED in the middle. They were bright and lasted through a winter....I took mine off as they stuck out. I had them on the front in the holes after taking off the plastic plate.

Had some mounted in a center console / wiring compartment on a sandrail, not for looks just for the light, was bright enough to look around and see what was going on, or where my keys fell or the bottle opener disappeared to...

I will be using them for my Ham Radio to light up the Face *****, The Face and the LED Bolt will be part of the OHC.

They can be used for lighting all kinds of things.

You can even resistor them and reduce the amount of light output.

Burn. But seriously, yah I vote no on rear LEDs. No reason to light up your license plate, it just makes the cops job easier.

Alright thanks guys, here is the deal. I went to Cycle Gear today to gets a pair of LED bolts. My rollpan gets out of the paint booth tomorrow. For under 20 dollars I am willing to test the product like Dan recommended. From what you guys are telling me, I think we are going to win.

I guess not all states require lights on your license plate

I thought Missouri did, but mine have been burnt out for over a year and a half and I haven't been stopped

its more of a secondary infraction. you could be pulled for it, but it would be one of those 230am things...like when they are looking for a drunk driver....

I got the Grant Customs roll pan back from paint today. Installed it, wow what a tight fit. I decided to use the LED bolts to hang my license plate. The LED bolts work great, very functional. In Texas you are required to have plate lights by the way. I am planning on making some stand off spacers, to help spread out the light. The one of the left needs to be tweeked over to the right a fuzz. I will get them dialed this weekend. The pictures turned out real crappy, its raining outside right now. Cheers gentlemen it is beer thirty!

Sweet man, is yours the bolt on? I got the bolt on style, it looks pretty trick. Way better than my drug bent and hell bound old bumper. I still want your front end too.

Cool, then I will be jealous again, thanks buddy. I wish I would have left my tailgate at the paint shop too. Now the tailgate handle and emblem needs shaved. Its in between a fresh snugtop and rollpan. I am thinking sore thumb haha.
