Icon6 Need Help On Tires

Hello I have a 1996 Ford Ranger Splash

I currently have 29x8 in tires on 15 inch rims

I have a 3 inch body lift
And a 4 inch suspension Lfit

and am currently looking into getting 35x12.5 inch tires and of course buying new rims... However will i have a rubbing problem?

Depends on backspacing of rim if you will rub on the inside. 3-4 inch backspacing and you should be fine. With 7 inches of lift, I'd say you'll be alright running 35's. I'd be more concerned with re-gearing than rubbing. What gears do you have?

Yea, you're gonna have a noticeable decrease in power going from 29's to 35's w/ 3.73's. Ideally, I'd say you want AT LEAST 4.56... but 4.88's would be better. But re-gearing is a whole other issue. Good luck w/ the tires. You won't rub w/ that much lift.
