I don't really like alarm systems. My truck has one installed from the factory and that is enough for me. I don't really have much in my truck that needs protected (yet). There may be a time when that is not true.

I too would rather use the adhesive than cutting for the keyless entry pad, but it just seems like something people will start ripping off or messing with. Maybe that is why I need an alarm system? But to stick something to the truck instead of cutting holes would be so much better and may look into this a little more.

So, I finally came up with my new ideas in case any of you are wondering. I have decided, as soon as ai get it together, to do the EATC. The EATC is the Electronic Automatic Temperature Control. In English this is a digital setup that controls the temperature of the cab by keeping it to a constant temperature and not just heat or air conditioning. It's seems quite extensive but I am up for the challenge and look forward to doing this mod.

While I am awaiting my EATC stuff and since I am getting my new welder within the next hour or so I decided maybe today I would plan on making a skid plate. Are there any How-to's for skid plates on here? I searched but was unlucky in my findings. What would happen to me skid plate if I got a 3" BL later? Would I need to redo it so it would stretch further with the lift or are those areas not moved during the BL?
