06 taillight swap

Are the wiring the same to swap out 2001 taillights and replace them with the 06/07 taillights. I am thinking about doing this and would like some input before I pull the trigger. Thanks

yeah I think in 01 they swapped to the two bulb setup... double check...

They're the same. Dude with the Red w/White Striped Ranger made a thread about it. I'm about to do it to my 98. *Crosses fingers*
