ArmRest Cover? CB Mount? Duplicolor Paint?

Well I don't know what you want to call this but I did this number a few months ago and am in love with it. Although it is nothing major it gives viewers a glimpse at the overall theme of my truck. It took quite some time to sew it on but it shouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon. Hope you all like it!! Also, I know it is not a new idea but I thought I would include my interior painting as well just to save thread space!! It was supposed to be chrome but the clear coat took alot away from it so it is basically silver now. Duplicolor paint all around. Also included my CB mounting place!! Blades

As you can see in the picture below I had an oop's while trying to get inside the guage housing to paint that, it didn't happen lol!!

Haha thanks man. Ya it is just a bandanna, bought it for the purpose so it was brand new on arrival, figured that way it is in its best shape. I used black upholstry thread on it, that is what everyone suggested to hold up to the abuse. Wal-Mart, it was $1.48 for a big spool. It is a inexpensive mod that says alot, just takes time and a sore finger lol. I'm glad you like it, and I hope you do it!! If you do and you want any advice just pm me or something, I will be glad to help you out!! Thanks for the compliments on the truck, I kinda regret not getting black rims but man the chrome sure can shine lmao, oh and Aviators for life bro!! Blades

Hey thanks for the compliment buddy, ya I wish I would have, I used cheap tape so the duplicolor found its way under parts of it. You wouldn't happen to know if it is possible to take the piece in front of the cluster out (the plastic piece that protects the guages) and do the same thing as the headlight mod with it, bake it in the oven? I really want to paint the black piece that surrounds the guages. Hope you can make sense of that lol, Thanks again for the compliments!! Blades

that's the exact same CB as mine, cept mines the DX4, I think your's is the DX3? and I mounted it in the same place. That's like the perfect place for it. It fits so nicely.

My CB sits at a more upright angle, so I can still use the cupholder. Plus I have four extra cupholders in my center console, so I have a total of six, in a regualr cab with buckets. It's great when you and your passenger both dip and need places for your dip bottle and your drinks.
