Newer dodge d-60

I was wrenching on my brothers 98 cummins yesterday and was thinking why couldnt you just swap the d-60 in a ranger already has the 4 link brackets then you could buy/make four link bars and boom your done but it is a lowpinion and if it were me i would buy the freespin hub kit instead of the stock junk IDK just an idea

I think I asked this before and I believe it has to do with the transfer case being on the opposite side. It is possible but a ton of work.

When I read Dodge D60 I got all excited hoping this thread would somehow relate to the Dodge D50 compact pickup.

i dont see why not to use dodge axles, mine are perfectly fine except for the drivers side inner axle seal is leaking, other then that. no problems whats so ever.
