When I took my carpet out, there are lotsa wires under it and I think it'd look tacky to just bed line it. There are already holes in your floor with plugs in them that you can easily take out if water does enter into your cab.

+1 for Vinyl flooring, i love mine! You can check it out at the Orlando meet coming up if need be. Couldn't imagine having a truck w/o it, screw carpet!

i dont think i would wash the vinyl floor with a water hose there is still padding under it that could mold i vacume it a spray wheel and tire cleaner on it and wipe it up looks brand new when i bought my FX4 it had carpet and i didnt like it so i went down to ford and ordered the vinyl floor it ran about 100 bucks it drops right in if you have a supercab with no jump seats if u got jumps or a single cab you have to trim it i got lucky with my B2300 came factory with it

Ditch the carpet and put the factory rubber floor in. You'll love it. Just don't spray it down like jeeps. The insulation holds water and turns to rust.

Um they make it for regular cabs too. My regular cab came from the factory with it.

YOU HAVE TO BE F-ING KIDDING ME......

after reading all the horror stories on this site and you would actually do this willingly ???? seriously...

ok even tho you have VINYL FLOOR you have Jute under the floor. that stuff retains water like mad.. go pull your seats and lift up that flooring i will bet money its wet if you are doing this.. if so welcome to having rusted out floor pans...

dude, what were you doing with that fan?? ??

but I agree in all aspects, no carpet = very nice...

I have driven trucks with those Husky floor liners... I dislike how they use a lot of space under the pedals and sometime the pedals (esp clutch ) can bottom out before the end of pedal travel... just my .02

IMO Trent, you are mostly just lucky... I would honestly resort to a bucket/rag if I were you... It may not have happened yet, but it will

Simple Green
+ 2X Sham-wow
+ Warm Water
+ ELBOW GREASE

= Clean truck without the risk associated with spraying down the interior.

*Actually, I'm kind of intrigued. If there is a legit way that I could theoretically take the seats out and hose the thing down without worrying I would be interested in the mod. Only if I know the floor is safe though.
