i don't like body lifts, personally. therefore i'm not putting one on my truck. i'm going to make a drop bracket, find some coils, put another leaf in the back and get about 2". with that i'll be in good shape with 35's

Sorry but it is just different that you would want 35s stock. 33s look alot better. If you do 35s atleast do a bl.

The "bad" impression can't be avoided. By creating this thread, you opened up yourself to others opinions (turns out most don't like it). I think what you are doing is awesome. You bought the truck simply to wheel. You plan on trying to break it so you can build it back stronger. Wish i had an older truck to just beat the crap out of...

Its like high school in here, peer pressure lol let the guy do what hes gona do, the 33s look good but I still like the 35's no lift idea, with coils and shackles they should have enough room to move around as well.

Just because your truck rubs doesn't mean EVERY truck rubs... Every truck isn't exactly like yours. If you had aftermarket wheels with less backspacing you wouldn't rub.

no ****

dude its no lift and 35s on a 93-97 there going to rub.

stock tires were most likly 235s there 9.25 inches wide

his tires are 12.50 inches wide

stock wheels most likely have 3.75 back spacing

unless hes running wheels like 1 inch of back spacing thats the only way hes not going to rub when turning at full lock

I agree w/ Downey... you opened the idea up to opinions... it needs something to increase clearance on the 35s... it's that simple... maybe not a BL, but I don't think your OP had info about shackles and coils in it. It's a good idea for a wheeling truck IF you can clear the tires...

stock wheels were 265/75R15, wheels(4" backspacing) & 35's at ride height didn't rub lock to lock.

i can't work on it for a little while, my cj needs some attention.

1 get rid of the saws all. Second buy a grinder and put a cut off blade on it. that will get ride of the wrinkles and make it look much better.

I like it.

As for this thread, not impressed.
