I was just wondering if anyone thought of putting a CB stacked with a din sized radio in the stock bezel. It looks like it might fit with no room to spare. pics would be cool too.

 

That would be a small CB, a cobra 19 might fit but theres going to be open spaces on the sides.

 

I don't think any cb radio would fit there....a scan gauge BARELY fits in the gap there.

 

that would be a mighty tight squeeze. but i do know cobra has some pretty small cb's. btw why would you want it there. it would always be hangin' in the middle?

 

Brian has it setup that way in his 95. He made some little plastic spacers for the sides of the cb.

you have to take the radio installation kit and cut it to make it work.
i ended up trying to make like speaker holes next to it but it cracked and when i redid it it turned out bad. real bad. just havn't redid it yet.

 

and no the cobra 19 wont work.its just to tall

 

Well i got a Cobra 18 WX ST II. I'll see what i can do. I seems to be like 1/16" taller than a 19. I might have to cut the bezel a bit. I was at radio shack and they had a super tiny one like 1 1/2" tall. But it has hardly any controls. Basically you switch channels and thats it. I kinda wanted the weather band.
