You'll probably get so tired of strapping in/out that you will probably not even use them.

As long as you retain your factory belts and use the harnesses when you want, then you're cool.

^ lol id actually want to use them...

my only concern is wiplash since im completely secured to my seat my neck would just torque forward very hard in a head on collision...

also how would i mount them.. ive seen them mounted to a roll cage support but i dont have an interior cage so thats out of the picture... do they bolt to seat bolts in the back and front?

From what I have read, you want them mounted behind. Not behind and down to the ground. I have a set in my race truck. It's directly behind on tabs welded to the rollcage. It's a ***** to get in them. I could not imagine doing it 5-10 times a day.

they might not be more comforatble, but theyll hold you snug.... my seats have a big enough "lip" on the seat and sides to hold my boney *** in so mine do a decent job/....

my buddy has a rice burner eclipse and he has racing seats with a harness but it mounts behind the backseat and runs up to the front seat so you cant really sit in the backseat drivers side...its wierd but he has no cage so it was the second best way to mount

you can, ive heard lots of guys tell me of civic JY seats with a space betwen the headrest and seat for running the harnesses through.

D has sparcos I beleive, and he has a bar for mounting the harnesses.

you should really have an elevated mounting point. in the case of a rollover the high angle from mounting to a floor would be much more likely to crush your collarbones...

you should watch with the police.....you need to get them DOT inspected and approved after the install so you dont get a ticket for them.....

i had a set in a car i had back in highschool....i had a wreck with them on and didnt get all that bad whiplash....no more than with the seatbelt on......

you will not like the submarine belt(ie: NUTBUSTER!!)....it is a real ball buster!
