Projector Tail Lights

Not talking blindingly bright tails, but something like fitting a projector kit in the stock tail lights and keeping the regular bulbs. I figured it would be a pretty subtle mod that would look pretty sharp.

The closest example I can think of are the tail lights that come on the Mazda 3, but the light would have a soft, deep glow. Even keeping the red plastic over the whole set up would look pretty good IMO.

Have you checked out ebay yet? I'm sure I've seen something like what you want on there before.

I see some that are close, but not quite what I'm talking about. I like that deep hue of projector lenses. I wanna bright that to the tails.

Wouldn't the beam be too direct? That's what projectors do. They consolidate the beam and minimize the spreading or whatever of the light. That would mean you could only see your brake lights from directly behind right? I think it would look cool but sounds kind of illegal/dangerous. haha Just my .02 cents. lol

I think that would be a cool idea for auxillary lights

If you took the cutoff shield out of them and mounted the bulb further forward than normal, it might work, but I'd say doing projectors for the reverse lights might be an idea.
