Ranger Calendar

Looking for some interest here, and some help

i want to start working on desiging a Ranger calendar of acutal R-F member's trucks, there will be rules and what not on who gets on it (its not a popularity contest)

I want to know who might be interested, and what types of deals you can find online for custom calendars, so far Christian helped me find a place that will do it, but its minimum 250 calendars.

oh, and my thinking is, some snow shots for christmas, maybe a pumpkin for october and whatnot....

but lets get some ideas flowing and let me know what you can get prices at

just throwing out ideas at the moment, b/c I'm too tired to actually do the research, but I KNOW Wolf Camera (here in NC) does calendars, but I don't know prices, and I'm sure we'd get some sort of discount for bulk... a professional camera shop like that would probably be the best place...

I'd love to help w/ something like this - Almost every year I've made Bobby a calendar for Christmas of his vehicles...granted, it hasn't been professional, I've done a pretty darn good job at these calendars! One year I did one for his torino, and had snow on it in Dec, etc.

Let me know if you want me to look into Wolf Camera (the would be professional, of course!) I seriously would love to help w/ this!!

I'd pick one up. Some members that probably should be represented: Rwenzing, N3elz, Redneckstone. Don't forget Christian. Those because they are some of the most known on this site, at least to me.

will there be sexy girls laying on the hoods? cuz I'll buy one then!

Trevelyn1015 12-10-2005 08:45 PM

no, we need to find a reasonable place to get it made.

where i found was wayyyyyyyyyyyy too fancy and expensive.

HighRollerII 12-10-2005 08:46 PM

id buy one...

great idea

ScottG 12-10-2005 08:50 PM

also, depending on when the calendar is ready for sale will determine when the months start, ASSUMING the maker doesnt throw a hissy about that

04lvl2 12-10-2005 08:51 PM

What are you guys looking to spend????

jtslmn720 12-10-2005 08:52 PM

ill probably get one... can i be on the cover??? :flirt:

ScottG 12-10-2005 08:53 PM

****, thats what i want you guys to tell me

cause the site christian showed me, id have to shell out 2k to get them made for their minuim order of 250

04lvl2 12-10-2005 08:53 PM

http://www.wyomingdesignworks.com/keepsakekalendars/

That probably isnt the best site but check it out.

Swoop1156 12-10-2005 08:55 PM

I'd do one, but I'd plan on making it a 2007 version, since we'd be out a few months by the time this thing get's off the ground.

I can procide some snow shots, fall shots, summer and rain...gotta love Michigan.

Strider0O0 12-10-2005 08:55 PM

i'd be down for one when the time comes to order! as for any help finding a place or info, i'd be no help, lol.

i've often wondered how much just one calender would cost to have made. at our shop, right now we've got a 2005 calender of show trucks.. yeah, most are nice, but then again, noone really cares to look at a denali on 22's with a lift all month.. i was thinking of doing a calender with my friends cars, so it would be cool to have around all year.

christian, that place you know of (the one you said was too expensive and fancy)... got any idea what they'd charge for a single calender?? i figure you probably didnt ask (since you'd be wanting a bulk order), but i figured i'd ask ya anyways.. just to hear a ball park figure on what it would cost.

ScottG 12-10-2005 08:57 PM

yeah, a 2007 might be best, but keep coming with the ideas

jtslmn720 12-10-2005 08:59 PM

i think youd have to do preorders then order the exact amount plus maybe 5.... this way your not gunna get stuck with all the extra calanders, and have it be pre paid so the moneys not out of your pocket at first....

04lvl2 12-10-2005 09:00 PM

I am sure it would be similar ordering process of like the T-shirts and Hoodies.

Do a google search on personalized calenders. There are alot of them out there.

Trevelyn1015 12-10-2005 09:04 PM

if you did a 2007, there'd be plenty of time for people to take good pics, for seasons, etc...

jtslmn720 12-10-2005 09:07 PM

true but is this gunna die out, or are we going to foget it until december 10th 2006 and say we should really get on this....

n3elz 12-10-2005 09:08 PM

I'd probably buy several and give them out to a few folks -- whether I was on it or not!

They'd need to be well under $20 though, or I wouldn't probably buy more than one or two.

Trevelyn1015 12-10-2005 09:19 PM

i would think that they should be able to easily be under $15/shipped.

this is scotty g's baby, though.

gonna let him run this.

i know i would probably buy at least 5.

Strider0O0 12-10-2005 09:29 PM

i searched around online.. found a few sites that say they do them (nothing looked impressive tho).. they were in the area of about 15 bucks each (for one).. some didnt say anything about multiple orders, while others had max orders of like 40 or so...

and yeah, like everyone else said, i'd be down for one.. if my truck were in it, i'd buy a lot of them, lol. then again, i'd think anyone would say the same

a311fanam 12-10-2005 09:31 PM

I work at Staples copy center and make calandar's all day at work, $14.95 per calander. No limit in quanties, no minimum.

vansnxtweek 12-10-2005 10:51 PM

This would be sweet!

01xltranger4x4 12-11-2005 08:23 AM

I'd want one...

Only if my truck was on it.....LOL
