That does look awesome, I'd just be scared to have a paint job like that on my truck because if anybody ever scratched it I'd have to kill them.

There is an black H2 Stretch Limo in Glen Burnie, MD (around the corner from me) that has these flames. I asked the limo company and apparently they were done in California by the same guy who does Jesse James's choppers. Looks sweeeeeeet (even though I absolutely loathe H2's) I would LOVE to find someone to do the "butane" (blue/white as apposed to red/yellow) on my truck. I'll post pics later.

That would look very good on the front of a Lightning Gary. It would really set it apart from all of the others.

it looks nice as hell, but it would be cheaper to actually set your car on fire.....

this thread is kind of old. when i started it i hadn't given buying a lightning much of a thought. i saw this on one of the "rides" episodes i believe. it takes a long time and several different coats of paint to do it. that f150 looks good but not as good as the guy that originated it. he painted a black traffic helo for some television station and one day as it was landing some passer by actually thought it was on fire and called the fire dept.
