I have to agree with what appears to be the majority...though not necessarily reflected in the poll.
I drove Jeeps for years (no...not Wranglers (blech!), CJ-7's. All had roll bars of course and since I drove in the city and don't live in LA I never used it...though little kids liked them for jungle gyms.
Long story short (and aren't all of mine long?) they are useless and do use up too much bed space.
BUT...if your going to do it, DO IT!!!! Don't mamby pamby around with some whimpy Bull Shiet storebought system...BUILD IT!!! Make it USEFULL!!! And Put Crap All Over IT!!!!
Jerri Cans, Lights, Antenne, Spare Tires, Ray Guns, Rocket Launchers, babies, space for a canoe (no go take a look at KanoeKing's rack and don't do that :) ) I mean build it like you mean to use it!!!!
Or, just don't have one 'cause then it just looks silly.
