Roof Rack Project!!

So this weekend me and my cousin got a little bored and thought about putting a roof rack on my ranger... We then found there old beat up 1993 for Explorer and took the roof rack off of it repainted it and cut it down to size... Now on my 1999 Ford Ranger Ext. Cab I have a very nice looking Roof Rack!!!

How do you mount it with self tapping screws? They can't be to long because they will come through the headliner ??

Yeah I forgot the exact size screws we used but they didn't punch through but we also have some rubber washers so there aren't any leaks. I'll try and take some more pictures soon

i used 1.25" self tappers on mine. enough to get through the outer sheetmetal to the structural support for the roof but not too long to go through the headliner.
