Current:
Edge Hood with Stock XL Grille



The grille and hood do not line up on the corners of the grille, the grille sticks out a little on the sides near the headlights and the hood over extends a tad over the grille near the same corners.. it's a very minor detail few see but do you think it is worth it to buy an edge/4x4 grille?

If I do I'm thinking on leaving the grille stock and take out the bumper billet..

 

Your truck looks really good with billet, so I would get the 4x4 grille surround and the billet grill insert. The whole lining up of the grille surround and the edge hood would bother me too.

 

I say get the new grille and keep the billet look.

 

Only problem with the SS grille you would have to lose the lights behind it

 

I say leave it, I think it looks great just the way it is.

I would get an Edge grill surround and another billet grill or a street scene grill. Like you said it's a minor detail that most wouldn't notice, but it would drive me crazy to no end.

 

I say keep the grill stock but have it chromed. Or get the chromed stock version of it.

I say put a ford symbol on in the bottom drivers side corner of the billet.....then your all set

 

well, it doesnt match up perfectly. That would bug the crap outta me! I say get the proper grill for the hood you have, whatever that may be.

Once thats all sorted out, keep the billet with the driving lights behind it, I think thats sweet.

 

Thanks, I dropped the grille off for paint today so I should get it back on monday.. plan to mod my current billet to work.. and tuesday I should I have the 06 tails installed!
