should i paint?????

Ive been thinking about painting my chrome bumpers black. if some one can photoshop, or post pics if they have done this to a 00 dsg. thanks

I think it looks good as is. Get a DSG powerdome and it'll look really good.

I've been thinking about doing mine as well. Already did the grill to match the truck and been thinking about doing the bumpers in Herculiner or something like that.

custom. only the bigger trucks had that option from the factory (250's etc)

I painted the grill tonight, flat black and it looks good im gonna do the bumpers tomorrow also flat black.

haha maybe later tonight i still have to get them off my phone and on my computer. im thinking now that the rear bumper is off im just gonna try and build my own custom bumper.

That doesn't look too bad! But the flares look a little odd because they don't match the bumper, even though they never did.

Looks good. Now just paint the flairs black and I would cut the lil parts of the valance between the tow hooks and front receiver so it looks like one big open area.

Well i changed it from the pic above. For prep i pulled of the bumpers and sanded them with a fine sand paper and then cleend them. I didnt like the spraypaint look that it had to it so i bought some spray on bedliner at autozone. took 3cans and its held up really well so far. I've gone mudding a few times and you can hold a power washer up to it and it hasnt chiped yet.
