Sleeping Platform!

Ok, so here is what I have come up with.
http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m...riderJw/Bp.jpg
I need one, so that i can store gear bags, and other junk under. I dont want to have to hastle with moving stuff to the cab, when i feel like pulling off of the road on a long trip, to sleep.
Any tips, advice, etc.
What lumber should i use?
1x6's? what are you all using?
Plywood?
Any ideas???
Help.
Thanks

Depends on how crazy you wanna make it. I have a platform for my bed thats simply 2-2x6's going across the bed sitting horizontally on the rests and a sheet of plywood that screws to it. Theres others that use the 2x10's vertically for more support.
