nope! the one i had previously leaked in a corner just a tad, but i didn't get enough sealant in it. when i put this one in (same exact one as the old, but working) i didn't even use the silicone like you can. just used the foam tape that came with the unit. i live in coastal nc and it has been through a few hurricanes.

Just an idea that I had when thinking about a sunroof, couldn't you take an explorer, and cut the metal area around the sunroof, then cut that same metal out of your truck's roof and then weld in the explorer's roof into your truck? Those sunroofs usually dont leak and then when you needed to get parts for it, you would be able to order the stock OEM parts from ford or get em from a junk yard.
Just an idea though. It would probably work better if you had an extended cab too.

Yeah it's just a pop up and the front and back clips unhook to take it out. I love driving with it out in the summer but i have to have another window open because of the noise.
