on the way home from school today, i was behind an 07 explorer and sitting at the red light forever i noticed the tail lights. im pretty sure they were factory tails, but does anyone know if they will fit a ranger since alot of explorer parts do? these tail lights looked dam good too.

 

No the explorer lights will not fit. The 06+ Ranger taillights don't look too bad if you want some stock ones.

i think hes talking about the RSC explorer red tails with black trim stuff, they look good, but i would rather have the 06-07 tails

ya i have on 07 XLT, im not tooo worried about making the lights look pretty but whatever ones that were on the explorer looked badass ha.

 

will those Factory 06/07 Ranger tails fit a 2000 ranger?

 

if you have a 2 bulb system then yes. if you have a 3 bub system then some modification is needed. if my memory serves me correctly your 2000 has a 2 bulb system so your ok. check out jusnesmodified.com for the tailights.

 

yea i got the 2 bulb, right now i got some crazy tails but they look funny, but i really like the 07 tails, very clean!

Ok guys I searched around and could not find the pictures for them but the new '07 taillights, not the ones that rwenzing posted up top of this thread but the ones that are in either the STX or Tremor editions. They are red, white, and yellow, and at the bottom they round out. Someone knows what I am talking about, are they able to fit in earlier model Rangers because I have seen them in there but just not sure what mods may be nessacary, because those taillights are hot lookin'? tell me...how hard is it to modify it into a three bulb fitting? Ive got a 99, but thoes tails are tight...

 

i have a write up on here in the how to section on how to convert to the 2 bulb from the 3 bulb....

all u have to do is splice the 3rd bulb wires and connect to 2nd

Ya I am not sure, I am almost 100% positive that the '07 STX's have them though.

Click on photo gallery, then it is the forth picture on the 1st page, see the tri-color taillamps on the black one. I just read the description and it does say that it comes with tri-color taillamps. I am glad I finally found a picture. That is a wicked looking truck though for little guys, hmmmm?

 

yup, you are correct, MAZDA b series tails

 

explorer lights wont work w/o body work... they are wider on the sides and taper...

but i want to also buy the 07 tails bc they look clean and i like to switch out my tails every once n awhile so i stay occuppied.
