To take off the stripes or not?

Hey guys, i'm torn whether or not I should remove the pin striping that came with my Ranger. It doesn't look horrible but I'm afraid when I get black wheels and paint the gray trim black it'll look bad.

What do you think I should do?

I like the look of the teardrops being painted, but I'm getting new wheels and tires in a month or so anyways.

Easiest method for taking off pin stripes? Everyone just says fingernails, etc..but I've been trying and it's not working so far.

I don't see any pin stripes on your truck.....I see some vinyls though. LOL

I say leave them on, it adds character. Why look like everyone else? Maybe I'm just partial to them because I have side vinyls also.

Bottom line is, if you like them, keep them; if you don't, take them off.

I think I'll take them off. Not really sure why I called them pin stripes, just the first thing that came to my mind. lol.

Thanks guys! How much does this "eraser wheel" thing normally cost?

I went to Autozone and they didn't have the eraser wheel that you guys were talking about..Just some 3M sanding wheels.

So I picked up some cheap Acetone for the residue..This will be safe to use on the car right?

I personally think it looks much cleaner without the stripes. I'm glad I did it.

Maybe..I don't do a ton of off-roading so it might be pointless..

I was just going to get some 32" BFG A/Ts compared to the 31" Kumhos I have now.

But I'm not really sure what I should do.

Thanks. And to be honest I'm not sure how the visor was broken. It was like that when I purchased the truck about 5 months ago...There were quite a few things broken on the truck. Getting new visor thingys is the last thing on the list to fix.
