No need to move radiator with a Body lift

I read some threads about people moving their rad. and some are having problems with the rad. when putting on a body lift. When i did my BL, i didnt want my RAD hanging down so low. So I just kept my rad in its original location and only moved the plastic fan shroud. I just put it upside down and it fits great. Just a few pics to help those in the process.

how is the shroud secured on the bottom?? is it just hung in there via those zip ties to the top of the rad??

I know a couple who've not lowered their radiators....goin' on over a year now with one of them havn't had any issues either.

If you get an E-Fan you dont have to relocate the radiator either do you?

the bottom is held on by a bunch of zip ties too but i couldnt get a pic cause of my skid plate. The Zip ties are holding just fine and i didnt try to tighten the dog sh*t out of them so they should hold up for a long while. Its been over a year now and no problems yet. I guess if i really wanted to, i could replace the zip ties with new ones, but since not one of them has broke, im not worried about it. An e-fan doesnt really matter in relocating the rad. Its the plastic fan shroud that would hit the fan blades if you dont do some adjustments. So instead of moving the whole rad. i just moved the shroud.

Sorry, but those zip ties will get brittle and break over time, and the fan will eat that shroud and whatever else it takes out. I have seen shrouds held on by zip ties. It's wise to come up with a better solution. E-fan would be better off.

wait I feel real confused, my body lift came with brackets to move the fan shround down a few inches, are people having cooling problems with this? I've had this setup for almost 4 years now without an issue

and like Shane said, I've seen alot of guys just toss the shroud and not have problems
