throttle body spacers

throttle body spacers

do any of yall have them im looking at the afe silver bullet spacer my friend did one on his taco and said he noticed a slight difference im mainly concerned with mileage and power but exhaust note info is welcome too

throttle spacers are basically useless on fuel injected engines

I put a one 1 in spacer and it does sound cool and I have better gas milage 3 mpg more but lost it with the headers

what exaclty is a throttle body spacer? any usfull on a diesel ? if possible..

It is a spacer that goes between the air intake and intake were the throttle butterfly is don't no if it would do good for desial

Your diesel doesn't have a throttle, so no it wouldn't help.

only works on carbed motors but then it ceases to be a tb spacer lol

Doesn't really work on most engines, but with go on anything with a throttle.

I must have had good luck I guess. I have had an Airaid intake on my truck first for a long time. And just recently added a throttle body spacer from Airaid. I have noticed a pretty substantial difference in getting off the line and pulling. But that's all I have really noticed. Besides the cool whistle sound.

could you make your own for cheap? i mean if its a cool exhaust note, why not fab one out of plate steel or something?

I guess its possible, I don't see why it couldn't be done.
