Tire spacers?

So I'm wanting to put 31's on the stock rims of my 2000 ford ranger, the problem is, my stepbrother (previous owner) did just that and the tires were rubbing like crazy on the frame and sway bars. I know the spacers would help alot but my biggest concern is whether or not the truck would still look good

It might look good but it will be very dangerous, wheel spacers are a bad idea for any car, takes away pretty much all saftey of the wheel not falling off since the bolts cant tourque down all the way like its supposed to, best to get offset wheels it you want that look.

If you go with 2" spacers or less, you'll be fine.

Looks custom, I myself haven't seen anything like that.

Agreed with Dewey. As long as they are maintained and that is kept up on there are no problems running a spacer that is of good quality.

I ran them on my rear wheels numerous times without issues. I only had a problem on the first install because my studs were too long and I had to cut a half inch off. It didn't affect anything as it was the non threaded portion.

People argue "the offset they create causes ball joint stress and premature wear on front end components" the same could be said about a wheel with equal offset. The maintenance is key.
