What to do?

Okay, so to save my truck's lower half, yes I want to rockerguard it like a few others have. However, with my truck being silver, I think it will look absolutely horrible with a black rockerguard lower half.

If I was to do it, should I rockerguard it and then paint the rockerguard silver, or maybe spray it DSG? Any other ideas? I need to do something to my truck this summer, as my rockers have no paint left on them and my door bottoms are starting to peel and bubble, and all around my flares is starting to chip and peel.

I don't want it to look crappy, I still want the truck to look as good as it does now. 418 000km on it BTW. It's in better shape than some I've seen with half that.

Here's a pic for some ideas. I do NOT want a dark contrasting colour like black on the bottom half. DSG is the darkest I'll go, and I'd go all the way around including the bottom of the tailgate. I want this to be as cosmetically appealing as functional as it'll be to save my body.

Perhaps someone could do some photoshops? Maybe what it would look like with it done in black, or DSG or another colour? I'd be doing it from the lower bodyline like everyone else does. I would probably also do the flares.

I can't remember who's truck it is, or if it's on this site, or the 400 other Ranger sites, but it's a silver one with black liner on the rockers, and it looks freaking awesome!

DO IT BLACK!

Hm I really don't know. You can get line-x in different colors now, maybe they can do a silver?

I know they do silver, as the bottom half of the company truck is line-xed to match the trucks color.

There is trucks around here that I'm sure don't have anywhere close to that many kms and they are rotting way worse than that.

Dark grey would look good, just dark enough to contrast.

I've seen much worse than mine. I want to keep it looking good, but also want some extra protection.

I may do it myself to save costs, but still do it well...however the cost of doing it professionally could potentially save me more money in the long run. I plan to keep this truck til it's no longer roadworthy.

I like the idea of a dark gray, like that photoshop pic. Looks really good.
