That is a whole other story. In HS we did an axle flip on my buddy's izuzu pup. It hit the bump stops with two guys, three sheets of MDF, and maybe another 150lbs of stereo equipment in the bed.

add in the torsion turn down and it handled like crap, had poor wear patterns, and was useless for anything besides cruising and light hauling.

Of course, it was a beater truck, but we though we were hot ****.

I had a local place make my leafs. My truck sits 2-2.5 inches lower then stock ones and I have put a 1300lb pallets of paper in my bed. It was NOT bottomed out and actually didn't ride THAT bad. I put a 700lb Honda Rancher ATV in the back on occasion as well as moving friends freezers, dryers, washers.. Still functions as a truck. Its been used to move things.

I think too many people on here are under the false belief that trucks were designed to ' offroad ' and thats their sole purpose which is far from what reality dictates.

If you did a half assed job on something ( high school project ) and that is what your basing your opinion off of, you shouldn't try to degrade the comments of others who have actually made something functional or taken the time/care/thought to make something work properly.

Git R dun.

i'm not wild about the mazda beds, but they are different from the rangers, and the fact that you can't put any kind of aftermarket tail lights on it

OK, so your argument is make an already stiff suspension even stiffer. Practicality.

well if i went up to 20's I would rub the fender well up front. I don't have the money right now to remove and re-run all the items on the fender well....

Im not a big fan of the Mazda bed used for the STX but I would for sure change the front bumper cover. That interior looks great.

i run 2wd too, but i happen to find plenty of mudholes/things to drive over while driving around town
