cab swap

i was thinking the other day of how nice it would be to have some room in my cab, but im stuck with the single cab and its a tight fit haha. i was wondering if anyone have ever put a extracab onto a 107 wheelbase ranger frame and just bobbed off the front 2 feet or so of the box. just curious, if done right it could look pretty cool, sorta like the old yota carbox pickups. anyone ever seen anything like this?

look in the project section. there is a guy who just extended the cab. it's some excursion company or something. white, lifted, black rims...

EDIT: safari pacific mx2 buildup is the name of the thread.

^^ That is a lot more work than just swapping an extended cab and bobbing the bed though.
