worth it?

i want to buy a 4x4 to screw around in. but cant stand throwing 6+ grand to get a decent one that would end up being a dd.

so maybe just a pos to have as a second vehicle.

would purchasing this to screw around in be worth it?

to fix the reverse prob with the transmission would that be hard?

right now my 2wd 3.0 5spd dd is pathetic on every level haha. if i just had the knowledge id put the parts into mine but. itd be much easier to just leave it in there. i think trail rig would be fun. and its the 4.0 so decent power without the bigger trucks gas hog.

i think i overpaid for it. haha

well now i really dont think the body/engine are worth it (4.0 no power to even roll a tire around a corner).

but the 4wd workss..

ugh. difficulty of putting the front and rear axles from the beater to under my good ranger?

or its guna get a redneck targra top and the doors are comming off.

i had just put gas in it to get home. and i had a metal baseball bat in my ranger my buddy who was going to drive that home for me handed me the bat and said i think we will get the money out of it this way. hahah

Well here are better pics of the truck.. opinions on what to do now. lol
Front

passenger side (dented up box)

driver side (missing ext cab window)

front grille broke

rear

off road bar (pos)

engine 4.0 (needs little work weak atm)

interior (not terrible)

ignition (afro engineered beyond belief how can i fix it?)

Front wheels have warn lockouts.

I just spray painted the wheels (and grille and part of the bumper) black because they are mismatching haha.

but the tires are pretty new but so damned small 235/75/15. was thinking of getting cragar soft 8s black (or leaving the ****t mismatched rims because the truck if for getting beat on) with some like 30in mud terrain bfg tires.

body lift it soon atleast.

but transmission needs repaired before anything (reverse is out)

oh and the door dinger and overhead light wont go off now. haha how can that be fixed? i honestly dont even care if theres an overhead light..i ripped the light out the other night when i realized it wouldnt go off.

I would like some simple custom made front and rear bumpers and a custom tailgate would be nice.. if i can get a simple one for cheap.

junkyard for the mirrors? because them mirrors are TERRIBLE in their placement and they are very brobdingnagian.

any other ideas guys for simple mods? thanks!

maybe later get cragar soft 8s in black they should fit over the front lockouts right?
