Royal Purple

Saw this on trucks and what not. it showed much improvment. Do any of you use it? I was going to start to.

i probably will when the truck gets older, but i've heard good things about their product

It won't do anything for your truck that a lower cost synthetic won't also do. And it WON'T increase your hp. If you want a synthetic, use Mobil 1 5W-30. A lot of the claims made for products hyped on the car and truck shows are pure b.s.

Well that product did free up 5hp in a Chevy LS1.

I am pretty much sticking with royal purple. Everyone has their reasons for what oil they use. The cheaper full synthetics I've used- Pennzoil platinum and castrol- both burned a qt or more between oil changes. Mobile 1 and Royal purple both held their qty between oil changes. Why is this? I have no idea. It could be something else entirely.
