EGR Tube 3.0L ---TN
 

I have a 99 Ranger with a 3.0L engine. My EGR tube that goes from the manifold to the EGR valve has somehow got a hole in it and sounds like an exhaust leak? Mine has 2 vent tubes come out the top.

Dealer only part, they want $70 and it takes 2 days to get it here. Can anyone on here send me a good one for less? Zip code 37363.

Do I have to replace the EGR valve/sensor at the same time even if I don't have a check engine light?

If it isn't broken don't fix it. So no, you shouldn't have to replace anything except the tube.
