Amp, sub, boxes... IL

I'm too lazy to retype this ad specially for this site so I'll just copy and paste from my Craigslist ad.. All of this stuff can be shipped and it all works just fine. I'll be getting pictures of everything in the next day or three.. Everything is located in Illinois 62468

I've got a Kenwood KAC-7201 bridgeable 2-channel amplifier that works perfectly. The outer case is aluminum, so it's oxidized a little but other than that it's a great amp. It pounds this Sony Xplod 10" I have pretty nicely. It blew my JL10w0 - obviously.. I'm only getting rid of it because it won't fit in my regular cab Ranger. I need a smaller bodied amp for my current setup.

Here's the specs:

•150 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms
•230 watts x 2 at 2 ohms
•460 watts RMS x 1 bridged output at 4 ohms
•stereo or bridged mono output
•4-ohm stable in bridged mode
•Tri-way capable (Tri-Way crossover required)
•MOSFET power supply
•requires 4-gauge power and ground leads — wiring and hardware not included with amplifier
•variable low-pass crossover (50-200 Hz at 18 dB per octave)
•selectable high-pass crossover (150 Hz at 12 dB per octave)
•selectable bass boost (12 dB at 90 Hz)
•preamp- and speaker-level inputs
•preamp outputs
•cooling fan
•13-5/8"W x 2-5/16"H x 11-1/4"D
•1-year warranty

Here's a link to it on Crutchfield: Kenwood KAC-7201 150W x 2 car amplifier at Crutchfield.com

Next is a Sony Xplod 10" subwoofer for sale. It's in great used condition and was only used for about 4-5 months. Barely even broken in. It's an 1100watt max - 400watt RMS I believe. I have the original manual and box for it as well. Here's a link to one that's identical to mine: http://i.walmart.com/i/p/00/02/72/42...12_500X500.jpg

I've also got a Qlogic box that's perfect for the sub. It's a carpeted wedge box that's made to fit behind a truck seat. .67 cubic ft if my memory serves me correctly. It's in great shape. Here's a link to a box that's identical to mine, but mine is for a 10" sub: http://lh3.ggpht.com/_2KmpWo0k-GE/Sy...6/DSC_0186.JPG

I've also just completed a custom box for a standard cab Ford Ranger that holds one 10" subwoofer. It's made from 3/4" MDF, has the audio terminal (plug-in) installed, and is ready to carpet. I have the carpet that I can throw in if necessary. I built this box to fit my 2001 standard cab so that I didn't lose ONE SINGLE CLICK of seat room and it fits perfectly. I believe it has .73 cubic feet of internal airspace. I just picked up a different style box. I'll take $25 for it alone, or $32 for it with the black carpet that's still new on the roll. Or I can do the carpet on it but it'll cost you $50. You won't find a box for a standard cab Ford Ranger that fits any better than this and not lose your leg room! I promise that...

I'm asking $35.00 the sub, I'm asking $75 firm for the amp, and $30 for the Q-Logic wedge box. Or $125 for all three and you can have a nice system all at once! Everything can be tested if the buyer comes to pick them up. If I have to deliver then I'll have no way to test them for you..

All prices DO NOT include shipping costs. That's on you... Trades will be considered but I really need the cash for new components.

Pics coming soon..

Well I finally got some pictures of my stuff. As I stated in my first post, the shipping isn't included, but I am willing to work on the prices a little to make them more reasonable for any buyers..

The Q-Logic box and my other custom box (not pictured) would be pretty expensive to ship but I'm willing to ship either of them, and I can provide exact measurements if anyone is seriously interested in either box. Box of the boxes are for a single 10" sub. The Q-logic has an internal airspace of .65 cubic feet. The custom box I built for one 10" has an internal airspace of .76 if I remember right. It's made of 3/4" MDF, and siliconed at the seams. It's not carpeted yet but I can do that for a few extra bucks. I designed it to fit behind my Ranger REGULAR CAB seat without losing one single click of leg room. I'm pretty damn tall. I can get pictures of it for any seriously interested people.

On to the pics...

Here's the Kenwood amp. It's ugly but it still pounds the Sony sub. After re-thinking it, I'm lowering the price on the amp to $60 + shipping.

Here you can see the chipped edge. If you're looking for an amp to hide or just a beater amp for your mud truck then look no further.

Here's the 10" Sony. It's a single voice coil 4ohm sub. Perfect condition. Used for about 4-5 months.. I bought it new and have the original box, papers, etc..

will those fit in a regular cab 98 with the seats scooted all the way back? if so i will take the boxes, subs are crap :) i have fosgates lol

Bird76Mojo 12-24-2010 03:23 AM

Well I can't really say if they'll fit in that exact truck. The Q-Logic box I had in a 1989 regular cab and it took up some of the passengers leg room. Not much though. The custom box I built was for my 2001 regular cab and it's designed to not take up ANY leg room at all. Both are for a single 10" subwoofer.

I can get pictures of the custom box if you're seriously interested. It's built from 3/4" MDF and siliconed on the inside as it should be. It also has the audio terminal installed. I can carpet it in black carpet if you really want but I might have to add a few bucks to the price for doing that..
