What would it look like if i just put blue led's behind the green i would like a blueish green?

 

Here's what my 96's cluster looks like now:



It has the green filtering on the back of the overlays, never sanded them off.
I have a set of my blue 5x smd led's in mine & I'm quite happy with the results, especially since I didn't have to deal with sanding the back of the overlays.

Your results may vary... I've had some guys try swapping them into their un-modded clusters and they weren't totally happy with the results. They were dim & about as bright as the old bulbs.

Apparently, some of the overlay color filtering is applied thicker or thinner than others & looks like I got lucky with mine & the color comes through really nicely.

 

Has anyone ever tried putting just the regular white LEDS in their cluster?

Ok thanks cause i am looking to get some leds and idk what to get cause i do not want to take them out and sand them the one im working on is a 2000 xlt 4 door it was my first car now i have a 2005 and 2011 best trucks ever but i hate the green and i need to do something with it bad. Any help would be great.. But if thats what your's looks like with the green still in there then i may have some luck not sanding mine down..

I forgot where you were using them. If they were for the plate lights, I have the 4x led's and some 7x led's that are about the same size... they're a little brighter too.

I do have a couple yellow/amber 3157's for the turn signals, they run $18 a pair shipped in the USA for Free

They're not as bright as the white led's, but they do have a richer color to them.

 

I will be contacting you for YOUR Plate Light LEDs and something for the Interior Lights as soona s I check out the Interior Light to see what I need.
