Toreador Bed Needed
 

So I was driving down the highway the other day and my new bed liner decided to take flight so it is now gone. Apparently my half-assed securing job didn't hold. Which sucks. Cause now my horrendous bed is showing.

It is all primed in spots where it was rusty, the bed rails are all scratched up. Worst of all the two bed bolts that are up front are completely seized with rust and each half a 6 inch wide rust hole around them. The old bed liner from previous owner help a bunch of crap between the liner and the bed and rusted it out. I can see my fuel tank through the damn thing.

Anyway my bed is coming off when I put in the axle and replace leaf spring hangars and it is pretty much salvageable. I tried to crank at the bolts and pretty much just twisted the metal all around and dropped about 10 pounds of rust into my garage. So I think I might have to sawzall it apart to get it off so it needs replaced.

I need a clean one from a 98-01. Maybe down south? It needs to be Toreador Red Metallic. Preferably styleside. I really need help finding this thing. I have a few weeks before I am starting my project so I need it before than.

Can everyone keep an eye out at junk yards and on craigslist for 98-01 Toreador Rangers being parted out. I am having no luck and I can't afford to have one painted. They are expensive as is.

Pics of the bed floor? I've heard horror stories of this, and my Ranger came with a drop in. Luckily the bed wasn't very bad when I took it out.

Yeah that was the first place I looked at but they ran from $400 to $2400!!! I was like ummm no. Even pull-a-part is like $250 and they don't have any in Toreador. Looks like I might be going to a body shop and having them patch it up. Luckily it is all on the front of the bed so the cab hides it, the patch job doesn't have to be pretty.

heres one in my area he may cut you a good deal its not red but i dont think it will have any rust being from this area

I didn't realize it was gone until i got home. I got out of my truck and I was like "wait a second?!" and I saw that it wasn't there. i went back the next day, wasn't anywhere to be seen.

HAHAHAH I can't believe it is just sitting there upside down!! He could jut flip it back over!! Wow, what a tard. It's probably fine. I wish it was on east coast I would pick that up in a minute. I could do a full swap with that thing: 4.0, 4wd, door, fender, bed, mirrors, 04-05 front end, and wheels/tires.

$800 is a good deal for it even as a DD if you don't find the crunched roof.

Moved to classifieds and deleted all the BS.
