Just a pro-tip, Loctite the threads of the bolts for the shift lever, they love to rattle loose. I got so tired of mine coming loose that I coated them in Loctite and also threw a 3/8-24 nut on the other side of each bolt to really be able to crank them down and make sure they don't come loose.

Also, you may want to remove the set screws that help prevent from moving the shifter too far. Had mine rattle loose on a road trip and couldn't shift into 2nd or 4th

Oh hai other moderator.

x2 on the set screws, my shift lever rattles pretty loudly when I'm in 4th. I need to back the rear set screw out and see if that solves it.

So just don't even use them?

I still have mine installed, I just need to back the rear most one out a little so it the shift lever isn't hitting it in fourth and I think I'll be fine. It doesn't make rattle in 3rd. Sounds like Jacob completely removed his. It's up to you. I don't know how much they really matter on these trucks.
