Hello everyone, I recently bought a project 1993 Ford Ranger XLT 2 wheel drive with the 4.0L V6 and its my NEW Project truck. I am having a problem finding a part, the bracket that bolts to the frame on the outer side under the drivers door is rusted / broke off and the local Ford Dealership tells me it is DISCONTINUED. Does anyone know if any other company makes a Reproductive / Replacement Bracket that they sell? THANKS

 

No, its to specific to be 3rd party
But Ford would have used similar brackets on all their cars and trucks, so wrecking yard may have what you need, hopefully not to rusted out, lol
Its probably riveted to the frame so may take a bit of work to get one out

 

THANKS RonD, I sorta figured I was going to have to try to find one in a junk yard on a wrecked Vehicle but was just trying to make sure before I went to getting under or around the junk yards, would like to have or find a new one to buy but I am sure I am not the only person to have run into this Buddy, LOL.
