The faster someone buys the old drivetrain the faster I'll be able to get the new one together. Someones gotta need it.

SCREW THAT! I'd totally make new bodymounts and bodylift that thing to that height using 4x4x0.250 pieces that have been boxed on the ends. HELL YEAH MOTHER TRUCKER!

It's not in my possession yet, but once I get everything together and start putting it in the truck I'll let it out of the bag.

dohc 4.6 out of a mach 1. something different. or maybe a 347 stroker. thats what i wish i had money for. i love diesels but there just to heavy for our already nose heavy rangers. 4bt would be awsome but still to heavy.

But he is going for originality. Swapping in a 302 is like doing the headlight mod, everyone is doin it!

My guess is a 4.6 DOHC, A stroker motor of some sort, or a 460 with nitro.

I'm with Johnbaum. I'm hoping for a 300 I6 (or a 4.9L for you metric fellows). Not going to be the "sex-iest" engine, but I've always thought it would be cool to run one of those in a rig.
