Uh oh!!!! I see Bosch platinum 4s. People are going to start hating on it!!!!LOL

Nice work. I would be a little hesitant to take on a project like that. Get a header in there while you have it unbolted.

Replace all seals and you're good to put it all back together. If you have $$$ to spend, I'd go for a RRFPR, performance chip, injector swap, cam swap (M52 and S52 cams should fit if I remember correctly or you can get re-grinds if you are on a budget) and to top it all off, I'd go with a de silva or conforti performance chip. If you wanna go all the way, lightened fly wheel and performance puck. Maybe I got carried away but if I had the $$$, probably what I'd do.

How's the rings in the bottom end, what about rod bearings and rods.

all valves are being replaced...rings are good in the bottom end bearings will be checked..all new seals and gaskets will be installed...i already have a turner motorsports performance chip...upgraded clutch will be later down the road as well as a lighter flywheel...but right now im just trying to get it running again

Our (6cyl 24 valve) valve job fee is $160, that includes grinding the seats and valves, resurfacing, cold acid tanking and sand blasting clean. Im not sure what labor cost are in your area but thats our standard fee, thats just for labor. No valves, gaskets or seals.

Ya, I bought a 99 cougar for that reason. I needed something to drive while the ranger was down.
