Very nice build. Looks like a very functional truck you have there. Have you ever thought of adding D-Rings to your front bumper? Would be easier to pull you out if you get stuck.

Nice looking truck! but those bumpers would look a lot better if you grinded down the weld beads. imo

Thanks, I've been working on it for 2 years.... I think its just about done though unless i get a cheap set of axles to straight axle it!

ok not trying to be an *** but i hope you just painted flat paint over primer..

Primer is NOT a metal protectant like paint its porous, thus why its primer its porous so paint sticks to it and holds water and helps metal to rust..

there is paint that looks like primer tons of it and still protects the paint...

Yes, I know that. It is just primer and not flat gray paint but it was not sanded down to bare metal so the original paint is still there protecting it. It has been painted primer for 2 years now and has not started to rust yet. the only spot that rusts is the drivers side door where it's bedlined over the primer and its rusting from the inside out...

Well I've been bored since I don't have a job so I've been spending sometime working on my truck.

I got new turn signal housings that are chrome but i had to fix one of them with a piece from one of mine so the bottom part of both of them is painted black.

Name: DSC00043.jpg
Views: 364
Size: 125.1 KB

I also painted my frame

Name: DSC00044-1.jpg
Views: 368
Size: 122.7 KB

And I painted my tailgate and one of the Ford letters fell off that aluminum plate that is on it so I took the rest of them off and I wire wheeled and clear coated it. Gave it a cool looking design.

I also raised up my hitch about 2 inches since after the body lift and having made my bumper up high it was annoying that it hung down so low. I also added 2 lights to so I can actually see in reverse.
