32v DOHC 4.6 project
Hah, sometimes ya just wonder if its easier/better to just buy a crate engine for ~8k.. saves hundreds and hundreds of hours of labor :-D
And... how did you want it? Lol, you can't tell me you tore it all down and did a stock rebuild and just cleaned it up/powder coated a few things here and there. We know you better than that Nick!
Time to spill the beans!

I really didnt do a whole bunch to it; 10.5:1 pistons, polished rods, balanced, valve job, cams, imrc delete, shorty headers, and underdrive pulleys. I know it sounds like a lot, but honestly, thats pretty mild. It should still be good for 350-400 hp.

That's not really a lot. I mean, to some, it would sound like a lot, but I know what you mean. You are still running stock style heads, so I mean it is still very moderate. Polishing the rods should help to relieve any stress and make them stronger, and with a good balance, I wouldn't be afraid to spin a 4.6 to 7 grand, as long as your cams and valve springs will support that, and I would assume they will.
updates:
My "employees" hard at work, dressing me up with sanding belt earings:

know what that is in the background???

this thing is going to suck!

as i was blinking, we were just showing that this engine weighs in at 450lbs fully assembled!!!!

4 grand is too much for one of those cars. if you can find the right seller, you can usually get an entire running car for around 1500-2000
lol, ask Beard what we are stuffin in his ranger.
there is one right down the road from me, 69k miles, he wants 1200 for it
iffy?? no iffy! its gonna be done!
wow if only i was closer! i would get it. Put tha tin the truck instead of the 5.0 lol..
Havent updated in a while. Started pulling the car apart Saturday night(3 days ago) and this is where I am with it :

Now the time consuming part:

Hopefully I can finish getting the pcm wired tonight and at least hear the fuel pump run.
