My Dixon bros LT FX4 build

Ok, so heres my current list/plans. keep in mind the DBR is going on top of my superlift

-DBR LT 4x4 (should be here any day now)
-2.5x10" travel Radflo coilovers
-6'' mcneil racing front glass
-mcneil racing 4'' flat top bedsides
-02-03' level 2 twin stick swap with all level2 parts (here in 8-9 days)
-trussed 9" rear end with eaton E-locker

the rest of my rear setup is totally up in the air, I will be working with a local shop around christmas time designing/deciding what I want to do, thinking about a real simple bedcage with 2.5'' Radflo resi's

here are my front fenders, Im really unsure about the shark grill, it was a 'suprise' when I picked them up. My friends all say keep it there but im strongly leaning towards filling them, all opinions are welcome

yes it is, I had a long talk with Aaron dixon about it, he has done all of the R&D on doing so. The geometry is the same as stock, only difference is I now use a 10'' travel shock instead of 8"

yeah weird I didnt know you were going to stack them. I say keep the fins, makes them different. also if they are non-functional I say cut them to be so

I'm thinking about cutting the fins out and doing some kind of black mesh behind with a tiny red DBR logo haha, kinda like the raptor?

That sounds awesome! Always wanted to see someone do a lifted long travel.

..and keep the fins. They're cool.

Subscribed. This is going to be very interesting.

Looking foward to seeing your progress.

Id say leave the fins, and then if you dont like them, just take the fenders off and fill them jokers.

lifted long travel is kinda defeating the purpose which is why you never really see it. the goal is to be low and wide and maintain as much travel as possible with the biggest tire possible.

but it will be interesting to see for sure!

fenders go to the body shop in 2 weeks for paint and hopefully the fricken DBR kit is here before then.. its hard playing the waiting game when you have no contact with the builder
