Are you ever worried about the seats fading or bleeding on to you?

maybe in like 2+ years they'd fade just because these are seats out of a 96 explorer so the leather itself is pretty old but aside that nope. the guys i've seen use it say nothing got on their clothes in 110* weather and today i actually soaked it and dried with a towel, pressing pretty hard on the seat to see if it would come off but it didn't. i even tried scratching it with my finger nail and it didn't do anything lol

I'm doing the oil tomorrow, 5 quarts of motorcraft syn-blend 5w-30 and a FL820 ready to go in.

yes i used motorcraft gold for the coolant haha
I thought these things took 5-20 oil ?

I've always put 5-30 in it.

Long day today but i finished right before the rain came.

pulled out the seats

Pre-tensioner/female end of seat belt off of the passenger seat ready to be mounted onto the explorer seat

quick test fit of the console onto the bracket so i knew where to mark and drill. I didn't drill the rear part of the bracket because i don't want unnecessary holes in my cab. I used heavy duty velcro on the rear part of the bracket and self tapping screws on the front.

Before

After

Also picked this up today for $20. Its a hitch (obviously) off of a chevy full size truck. It's the donor for the front hitch project that will happen once my truck is lifted (will start the lift soon). It looks bad in the pic but the one i got for the last E4 was worse. Nothing some sand blasting can't fix!
