lol yes its way better now. gonna be 80 bucks to get the hitch raised which isn't bad at all. Glad you found this place, I trust a fab shop much more with this job since i occasionally do tow stuff.

I remember the pics but if you do find them, feel free to post em up for others to see. I wish i had a welder capable of welding the hitch then I'd just do it myself

Its hard to explain, but the mounting plates on my hitch kinda curved inwards towards the frame a little bit.

I cut the mounting area off where it started to curve. Cut off the excess in order to raise the hitch up.

I then reused the mounting plates. They doubled as a shim, and a guide in order to drill through the plate that I welded to.

I wish that I had pictures. Its really easy to do.

Lol I kinda understand you on the sandpit, although in Alaska I always have snow on my cab floor :-\ Even after driving for an hour, or leaving truck in garage for 12 hours. Boo cold!

There's no bathroom at the fab shop? Poop in the trash can. That's what they deserve for not having a bathroom.

lol he isn't that kind of guy to do that to a customer. I actually traded my OEM badges for the 06+ ones with someone on here minus the tailgate one which i bought new at cost from Ford.

I just picked up a black shorty console with arm rest (needs the steel bracket from rock auto) and new headlights. going to clean up the console now

AND my intake cone dust cover just showed up. dope! thanks Kris03

Don't you have a shorty console?

I need seats. I can find consoles all day here. but nothing good seat wise.
