The Ranger is officially gone, and I'm glad. I got tired of having no space and spending close to $400 a month on gas in a V6.
Picked up a new TOYOTA with 13 miles on it to commute and I should be getting a fullsize truck within a year or so.

A big if this thread dies, some NEWB is gonna zombie it and ask about Plastidip, t-bar crank or a question about the largest tire/least lift on a ranger.

On point haha. I'm going to keep an eye out for when they list it for sale unless it goes to auction. I'd assume they will send it up the street to their used car annex and sell it there, though.
Already got 3 texts from people saying they would of bought it and they're mad I didn't say anything about getting rid of it lol

I've never had to plow snow so I guess I can't relate lol

Eventually we'll all be in full sizes or someone else's midsize thanks to Ford. The dying off of what was once (and still is to a lesser extent) a strong and tight-knit Ranger community is a harsh reality and direct effect of the market. Say what you will about sales numbers and whatnot, but the bottom line is that Toyota (and now GM) get it when it comes to the midsize market. They're so far ahead now that it's not even really worth it for Ford to ever try the Ranger here again. I love my Fords, and I'll own a Fiddy or PSD one of these days, but I still get a little angry about the killing of the U.S. Ranger. /soapbox

I hate full size trucks more than I hate my Ranger, and that's saying something. I'll probably get a car before I ever get another truck.

If he had put the tow hooks up for sale, there would've been a bidding war lol

Lol they were welded on!

Like I said in the chatbox, I forgot someone I know worked in the service department. He sent this snapchat to a friend of mine lmao. He took the bar off before the ranger got sent to the auction.

Bummer the truck's gone. Can't blame you for getting a car.

If you bought a Ford, they put LEDS in all their dome/map and exterior lights from the factory. Just saying.

Yeah $400+ a month on gas in a midsize truck was stupid. Idk how I did it as long as I did though lol.
Id probably still replace the factory LEDS with buggman ones because they're Prob brighter lol

Its the same reason i bought a car. I was tired of spending that cash per month, plus the ride was **** and I wanted to go faster.
