You all know the Ranger is gone, but it's gone for a good reason. Commuting with a lifted truck spending $400+ a month on gas even with cheap prices was no longer reasonable. Not only the fuel, but it killed through my tires (33x12.5R15 BFG KM2) and I was not going to run a more highway-friendly tire, it would look stupid.

Anyways, here's its replacement. 2014 Toyota Corolla S-Premium (fully loaded) picked it up as a 2014 leftover with 13 miles for a deal I couldn't pass up. Double din headunit, factory LED headlights, moon roof, back up camera, etc. I went to buy oil for my dads car and walked the lot for the hell of it, ended up buying the car lol.

I picked the car up on Monday evening 12/29 and it had 13 miles and now its Friday 1/2 and it already has 482 miles. Yeah, screw driving the ranger that much anymore.

I'll probably end up buying another E4, but one I won't give a **** about and like I said, I'll be sticking around. This place is "home"

Onto the pictures. Yes, all of these mods happened in under a week

Not much else will be done to the car because its purpose is to commute efficiently, but the things left to do are:

-New horns
-Ventshades
-Fog light LED conversion
-Thule Roof Rack
-MAYBE a slight drop

But really, that's a good looking car. You're right about the tint looking darker on a white car. I have 20% on the front and 5% on the rear windows of the Fusion and they all look blacked out lol

Yeah it was a no brainer getting it. If i was spending that much money on gas and i had a V8, i wouldn't be complaing but a tuned V6...not so much lol.

yep everyone thinks its 20 all around until they get inside. on the ranger I'd have to lean forward turning onto my road at night cuz i couldn't see **** but in this i don't even have to move since the tint is lighter.

I think it would definitely look good dropped an inch or 2. Do the light covers affect the light output?

What kind of mileage are you getting?

I'm stripping all the tint off the Ranger and doing it like my Fusion. 2% all around was fun for a little while, but I'd rather be able to see. I couldn't even see the side mirrors at night unless the road was really lit up.

Yeah I do too. I've seen a few on a huge forum that were dropped and some that were slammed. I'd only do coilovers though and the ones I'd get are 1500 lol. The lamin-x doesn't affect the output too much at all. They make it in clear as well as the other shades you see on the packaging in the pic. They're cut to size for your vehicle too

I got 39 mpg today driving from MA to CT and back. 2% is pretty much like spray painting your window lol damn

2%, why not paint it black, it'd be cheaper

That's pretty good. I usually get 30-32 highway in mine.

Haha yeah, 2% is only nice during the day. Sucks at night. The guy that tinted my windows had a 4 door Blazer that had triple 5% on the cargo area windows, double 5% on the rear doors, 5% on the front doors, and 35% on the windshield. He told me he never drove it at night after trying to back it down his driveway the first time. Tree took the back bumper out lol

haha yeah, A raptor would be cheaper! I'd never buy a brand new truck, waaay too expensive. 50-60+ grand..barf

back on topic. its needs a little tunable coilover love and nice set of white TE37's :)

Haha yes they are. People have flashed their highs at me a few times already but I win the battle when my highs go on. The output is pretty impressive, great range and perfect cutoff with the projectors.

Lol yeah they're expensive and I also wouldn't want a brand new truck. Slightly used would be ideal.
I've been looking at coils already but idk if I'll do it yet. Id do gunmetal wheels, not white. That'll be too much white lol.
